IV. Protection of Minors and Incompetent Individuals
A minor child or incompetent individual may not authorize the removal, donation, or use of his or her tissues or other biological components entirely originating in his or her own body for any purpose other than for medical procedures for the direct protection or improvement of the physical and mental health and well-being of said individual.
The word "entirely" is included to permit moderation of decisions regarding conjoined twins.
No person, entity, or organization may participate in the removal, donation, or use of his or her tissues or other biological components entirely originating in the body of a minor child or incompetent individual for any purpose other than for medical procedures for the direct protection or improvement of the physical and mental health and well-being of said individual.
