IX. Rights to Full Disclosure of Location and Use of Genetic
Materials and Genetic Data
Every Genetic Human Being has the right to full disclosure about the whereabouts and use of any
Human Genetic Material and Human Genetic Sequence data that originated in or is associated with
the individual, including tissues, cells, and DNA sequences, throughout life. This right is not
severable.
Any person, entity or organization who acquires Human Genetic Material or Human Gene Sequence
data specific to any Genetic Human Being must immediately disclose the circumstances of this
acquisition to the Genetic Human Being.
No person, entity, or organization may retain cellular components or DNA sequences specific to any
Genetic Human Being without full disclosure to the Genetic Human Being.
