What is Architeuthis Press all about?
I created this website as a resource for creative, introspective
people with interests in the mystery of being, dreams, the creative
process, hope, art, the craft of writing, reason, and the tireless
pursuit of human liberty from all forms of unfortunate constraint.
That said, Architeuthis Press is also both my creative and aesthetic
playground and my eventual e-publishing trademark (I have
submitted an application for trademark registration).
I think my “Genetic Human Bill of Rights” is the most important
contribution I make on this site. I’ve done some thinking about it,
and I encourage everyone else to do the same. It may seem a bit
serious, but I am REALLY serious about human liberty.
I also offer my “Imagined Dreams” method to support emotional
recovery from grief. “Dreams of the Borderland” is the result of my
own use of this method.
I think you will find my “Craft of Writing” programs remarkably
effective in easing you into the practice of creating worlds with
words.
I also offer a collection of dreams for research and analysis. It will
take some time to post them all. Eventually, I will write an article or
book abstracting what I have learned from my own collection of
some 500 recorded dreams.
I have illustrated the site with digital clips from my art work.
Eventually, several of these pieces will be shown in their entirely
under “Art.”
I hope you enjoy what you find here.
If you find it useful as well, that’s even better.
